About

Studio 1177 is the foundation for bringing ideas to life.

My name is Abi Trembly, Studio 1177 is the home for my creative work — not a barrier between me and my clients. Originally 1177 was created as a way to encourage people to take my creative practice seriously while keeping the process personal, it has become much more than that. It is a living archive of my evidence for the argument that the film/advertising industry becomes all the better when intentional and responsible creation is at the forefront of our minds as creatives and artists.

I am a believer that the best creative projects, whether that is an advertisement, YouTube commentary, or a multi-million-dollar budget feature film, are rooted in communication, community and human-centric design. So, I draw on my past experiences in art, theater, teaching and design to bring that layered perspective to every project.

Everything that is made by Studio 1177 is made with this care and attention. No faceless interactions or shortcuts, just genuine collaboration created by knowledge, experience, love for the craft and deep understanding through intentional communication.

About the Founder

Abi Trembly is a life-long creative, starting with dance in her early childhood and growing into photography, music, theater, then finally video editing, visual effects, and motion graphics during her time at the Johnny Carson Center of Emerging Media Arts in Lincoln, Nebraska at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she graduated in 2025.

With a multi-disciplinary understanding of art and how mediums interact with one another due to her background, she is driven to advocate for human-centered design based on communication, community and mutual understanding. Her background also makes her passionate about how deep understandings of both art and other people creates stronger creative minds, and she seeks to encourage these conversations in every project she participates in.
